Thank you for visiting the Papillon Club of America's comprehensive website. Please spend some time browsing our site and learning more about our wonderful breed. Our breed is made up of two varieties, the erect eared Papillon and the drop eared Phalene. Both are considered to be Papillons by the American Kennel Club and are shown together in breed conformation competition. The Papillon is a wonderful, all-purpose breed that excels in and out of the ring.

If you are looking for a Papillon, you may want to consider an older retired champion from a breeder. Check the breeders’ link for breeders in your area. Also, the PCA supports rescue. The PCA Board of Directors encourages serious Papillon and Phalene fanciers to join our club and help promote our wonderful butterflies and moths in all their many roles. Our members are found throughout the United States and are often found at AKC dog shows and event trials throughout the year.
