2. Only Papillons owned (or co-owned) by members in good standing of the Papillon Club of America, Inc. are eligible for the "Top Winning" awards under this program.
3. The "Top Winning Papillon of the Year" will receive the Golden Butterfly Award. The "Top Winning Opposite Sex Papillon of the Year" will receive the Silver Butterfly Award.
4. The "Top Winning Papillon" will be the Papillon ranked number one as determined by the AKC Top Dogs Conformation Breed Total and the Best Of Opposite Sex Report for the period covering January 1 through December 31 annually. (These points are determined from the number of total dogs defeated for winning BOB, minus the dog, and points won by winning BOS. Example - Entry is 10-12-3-2. A bitch champion wins BOB, so she is awarded 26 points, the entire entry minus the one champion. A class dog wins BOS and is awarded 12 points - 9 class animals and 3 dog champions.)
5. The "Top Winning Opposite Sex Papillon of the Year" will be the top ranked Papillon of the opposite sex to the "Top winning Papillon' as determined by the AKC Top Dogs Conformation Breed and the Best Of Opposite Sex Total Report for the period covering January 1 through December 31 annually.
6. Duplicate awards will be given in the event of a tie.
7. The Chairman of the Breed Awards Committee, as designated by President and the Board of Directors, will obtain the Top Dogs Conformation Breed Total and Top Best Of Opposite Sex Breed report from the AKC. The Chairman will submit the information to the Board Liaison, and the Corresponding Secretary will send letters to the recipients, by February 15th of the following year. The results will be submitted to the Pap Talk editor for publication in Pap Talk, as well as the web master to be added to the PCA web site.
8. The Corresponding Secretary will notify the recipients of this award by first class mail. The award will be presented at the Annual Awards Banquet. The award will be mailed if the member is not present.
9. Each recipient under this program will be added to the PCA Hall of Fame.
