AKC Announces the 2005 Agility World Team Members The American Kennel Club is proud to announce the selection of the AKC/USA Agility World Championship Team. These 12 people will represent the United States in Spain on Sept. 23-25, 2005 and are supported by the sponsors, Iams Dog Food Company and Clean Run Productions. The three teams of small (14"), medium (18"), and large (26") have been selected to compete against approximately 34 other countries at this most prestigious event. Six of the team members won their way onto the team in May at the World Team tryouts and the rest of the team was selected based on results of the ISC Iams International Day, AKC National Agility Championship and World Team tryouts. Balancing the team (consistency vs. speed) and an eye towards the future, are other items considered. Mini Team: Midi Team: Maxi Team: Barring injury or unsatisfactory rabies titration results, the above teams will compete in Spain. Please join us in congratulating these individuals and their dogs and wish them continued success, as they represent the USA, AKC and its Sponsors!
